The Challenge

The Lulú Chips project was an evolution of image, e-commerce and digital, to assist the brand in creating a higher value for itself in the minds of its consumers.

The client asked us to create a new brand image that conveys Lulú’s true personality without changing the existing packaging in the market, so that the brand can achieve a greater visibility and recall among its customers.

In addition to this, the client also required us to create a digital platform for the brand that reflects the unique qualities that Lulú’s products have, like their distinguished flavours, while also offering an easy, seamless, and friendly shopping experience.

Success In New Distribution Channels

The packaging design we curated meets the requirements for each distribution chain and all points of sale like Walmart, Sam's Club and Winn Dixie, and also made the product visually appealing. For this project, we took advantage of the high quality of the product itself and went with a strategy of making the packaging almost entirely transparent, so the product speaks for itself. A complete success! Bye Bye, old methods of just new colours and designs.

To give Lulú Chips a noticeable place online, we met its consumers where they shop the most, Amazon! With this digital integration, we ventured into the online distribution channel to make it simpler for people to get their hands on their favourite chips. We designed and built the Lulú Chips store keeping it in tune with the heart of the brand in terms of tone and visuals. Lulú's Amazon store is a fun journey into the heart, history and values that make Lulú Chips a fun, fresh and innovative brand.

And this is how we drove sales through the brand’s story, personality and style.

How Did We Carry Out A Digital Transformation?

We turned to a Shopify Platform.

By emphasizing on a product-centric, brand-driven user experience, we built an online store that brings out the attributes, personality and flavours of Lulú Chips.

By playing with colours and ingredients that characterize each variant of the product, we highlighted the brands creative personality. This allowed users to differentiate between each variant and identify them based on their personality, in an engaging way.

Our product pages combine usefulness, inspiration and information to drive conversion, with quality content for our consumers. The images and features of the product are always easy to view so that the user has access to all the information they need regarding the product they’re interested in.

Social Media

As part of the digital transformation, we used social networks like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube to communicate with and create a relationship with our users.

We were able to set up a sales channel through Instagram Shopping, and created campaigns to spread word about the brand over a very large audience.

Now, we receive a lot of comments and can even hear from customers what their needs are and what they expect from the brand. This has helped make decisions with regards to new products as well as the idea of entering new markets.
